Employee Rights

  • Employees have the right to safe working conditions.
  • The working hours of the employees must be specified in their contracts.
  • They have the right to charge the agreed fee. (If applicable, they may have rights such as overtime, paid leave, additional payment.)
  • Have annual paid leave. (Where applicable, they may also have special permits, such as maternity leave, educational leave, etc.)
  • The right to receive compensation in case of work accidents due to employer error and in cases where health is negatively affected.
  • Employees are legally protected against gender discrimination.
  • Employees cannot be asked for information about race, ethnicity, religion, political view, and personal life. However, if it is deemed necessary for work, some personal information may be requested with the consent of the employee.
  • Some employers start employees with a certain trial period. Employees have the right to know this period and possible post-process situation.

Employee Responsibilities

  • Employees are obliged to perform the given tasks completely.
  • Employees must maintain business discipline and follow the employer's rules.
  • Employees must take safety and security measures in the workplace.
  • Employees must compensate for the damages caused by their own mistakes. (In some cases, the allowance for the loss is limited to a 3-month average salary.)
  • Employees must fulfil other obligations under the Employee contract.
